TAI CHI FOR HEALTH & WELLNESS classes are suitable for men and women of any age especially older people because it gently moves all joints, muscles and tendons throughout the body and can be carried out while standing or sitting using slow controlled movements.

 

Many scientific studies have shown Tai Chi  significantly increases flexibility, improves balance, reduces stress and reduces the risk of falling.

 

There are many styles and forms of Tai Chi, but the SUN STYLE has been officially adapted as the Tai Chi form used by arthritis foundations in the UK and many other countries because studies have also shown this programme to be effective and safe for people with arthritis especially.

Being more relaxed and positive will greatly help towards reducing stress, improves the perception of pain and increase a greater sense of self-control. A positive frame of mind also aids healing and Tai Chi integrates both mind and body.

 

Visulization pays an important part in Tai Chi therefore, should you not be able to perform a particular movement then you should visulize doing it while continuing to practise Tai Chi.

 

Just like any sport one decides to do, you have to find one that you like and enjoy doing on a regular basis and with TAI CHI FOR HEALTH & WELLNESS  you will either like it or hate it but please come along to try it out for yourself. Many sports people participate in Tai Chi to improve their flexibility and to release stress along with many other high powered business people.

 

It is important that you must always work to your own level of fitness and never try to keep up with everyone else. You must sit down whenever you wish and never push yourself to do anything which is painful or out of your comfort zone.

The amount of time you should practice at home on a regular basis should never exceed any longer than you can manage to move without aggravating your condition. Only you can control your own exertion level.

With regards to payment there is no joining fee or membership fee, you only pay when you attend class so if your off ill or away on holiday you will not lose any money -
