TAI CHI FOR HEALTH & WELLNESS classes is suitable for men and women of any age especially older people because it gently moves all joints, muscles and tendons throughout the body and can be carried out while standing or sitting using slow controlled movements.
Many scientific studies have shown Tai Chi significantly increases flexibility, improves balance, reduces stress and reduces the risk of falling.
There are many styles and forms of Tai Chi, but the SUN STYLE has been officially adopted as the Tai Chi form used by arthritis foundations in the UK and many other countries because studies have also shown this programme to be effective and safe for people with arthritis especially.
